+Does ThreadEasy send messages on LinkedIn for me?
No. ThreadEasy only reads your inbox. Every follow-up it suggests is a draft you copy, edit and send yourself, directly on LinkedIn. Nothing is ever posted on your behalf.
+Could this get my LinkedIn account restricted?
ThreadEasy's extension only reads data your browser already receives while you use LinkedIn normally, it does not automate clicks, sends or connection requests. That is a much lower-risk pattern than the automation tools LinkedIn actively targets, though as with any browser extension that touches LinkedIn, we cannot make guarantees on LinkedIn's behalf.
+Where is my data stored?
In a Postgres database with row-level security, so your data is only ever readable by your own account. Message text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate summaries and draft follow-ups, and otherwise stays in your own database.
+What happens if LinkedIn changes its website?
The part of ThreadEasy that reads LinkedIn's messaging data is built to fail gracefully rather than break outright. If LinkedIn changes something significant, new messages may stop syncing until that part of the extension is updated, but nothing else in your account is affected.
+How does the AI summary work?
When new messages come in, ThreadEasy sends the thread's text to Claude (Anthropic's AI model) to write a one-line summary and a suggested follow-up. You can regenerate either at any time from the dashboard.
+Can I use ThreadEasy for platforms other than LinkedIn?
Not yet. ThreadEasy is currently built specifically for LinkedIn DMs.
+Can I cancel any time?
Yes. There is no lock-in and no minimum term.
+Do I need a credit card to sign up?
Not while ThreadEasy is in early access. You can create an account and try it out without entering any payment details.
