Terms of service
Last updated: September 2026.
1. Using ThreadEasy
By creating an account, you agree to these terms. ThreadEasy is a reminder and summarisation tool for your own LinkedIn DMs. It reads the messages your Chrome extension observes while you use LinkedIn normally, and it never sends, edits or deletes anything on LinkedIn on your behalf. Anything ThreadEasy drafts is a suggestion for you to copy, edit and send yourself.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password and your personal access token (used by the browser extension) secure. Do not share your access token with anyone else, it grants read and write access to your ThreadEasy data.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use ThreadEasy in line with LinkedIn's own terms of service. You are responsible for how you use any content ThreadEasy suggests, and for your own conduct on LinkedIn. Do not use ThreadEasy to store or process data you do not have the right to use.
4. Subscription and billing
ThreadEasy is a paid service at £8 per month, with no minimum term, cancel any time. While ThreadEasy is in early access, sign-up does not require payment details and no charge is currently taken; we will give notice before billing begins.
5. No warranty
ThreadEasy relies on reading LinkedIn's own website, which we do not control and which may change without notice. We do our best to keep sync working reliably, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or that every message will sync correctly. ThreadEasy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ThreadEasy is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including lost business opportunities from a missed or mishandled follow-up.
7. Ending your account
You may stop using ThreadEasy and request deletion of your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or end accounts that misuse the service or breach these terms.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will let you know by email or via a notice on the dashboard.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
