The problem
LinkedIn's inbox is built for reading a message, not for keeping track of a hundred ongoing conversations. Once a thread scrolls off the first page, it is gone. Good leads go cold, warm introductions get forgotten and personal conversations quietly die, not because anyone meant to drop them, but because nothing ever reminded you to come back.
